Club History
The course was built by Colonel John Davis on approximately 115 acres. In 1969 the club was organized. Soon afterwards, nine local men formed a corporation known as Blue Springs Country Club, Inc. and purchased the facility with a membership of approximately 400 members in 1972.
On December 7th, 1983, Articles of Incorporation were filed with the State of Missouri. The name was officially changed to Country Club of Blue Springs, Inc. Shortly thereafter, elections were held with eleven members being named to the Board of Directors.
Since the purchase of the club by the members, there have been numerous renovations and upgrades to the Clubhouse, Pro Shop, Maintenance and Pool facilities. The golf course saw a complete reconstruction over a period of two years, from early 2002 through late 2003. Some of these improvements have been accomplished through member-approved Capital Improvement Dues, some through fund raisers and some through volunteers giving their time and talents.
